'The Kitchen Table' Menu
'The Kitchen Table' is a small cafe located in Pound Ridge, NY. The coffee shop has a modern yet rustic aesthetic with its metal chairs and dark wooden tables but also exudes a homey/comforting essence due to its small size, simple food options and welcoming waiters/waitresses. A new logo and menu was constructed to embody these qualities. Coasters were designed as well to provide subtle elements to their visual identity that could be used in the cafe as well as sold to customers.
REDEFINING VISUAL IDENTITY:
While the initial menu draft embodied a modern look with its slate/muted color scheme and wooden pattern, elements were designed/developed in the final menu to maintain that modern aesthetic but incorporate that comforting aspect that was lacking in the previous draft.
